Should We Have a Neighborhood Watch?

http://shadowglenwatch.blogspot.com/

I have watched Shadow Glen from the beginning, from a few streets carved into a cow pasture to a neighborhood nearly full to capacity with families. But lately things have been getting very scary. Houses all around me are being broke into, property vandalized, and no one knows exactly what to do.

I think the best thing we can do is set-up a neighborhood watch. No matter what time it is, there is always someone home in the neighborhood, and a pair of watchful eyes could be the difference between the police preventing a crime or cleaning-up after one.

Here is a good site for some more information: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/78562/how_to_set_up_a_community_neighborhood.html?cat=17

If you think that a neighborhood watch is an idea worth considering, let me know in the comments section of this blog. If you would like to participate in active watches let me get a show of hands. With enough interested people we can contact the Fort Worth Police Department and set-up a neighborhood meeting to discuss how we can protect our families and if this is the right solution for our community. Again, just leave a comment at the bottom, we need your opinion first.
